This is a site where you can find information about traveling to the north of Sweden for some really nice skiing. We hope to inspire and inform you and hopefully we can convince you to visit the north of Sweden to experience some of the best skiing in the world. The Swedish mountains is not even close to as high as the Alps but they for sure are beautiful anyway! Some of course think that they are event better. One thing that you can see in the north of Sweden that the Alps doesn't have is the Northern Lights. There are more things that divides the Swedish ski resorts from the Alps. For example there is a much more relaxed and calm atmosphere in Sweden than what you'll find in St Anton for example. There are also a big difference in the culinary offer, the Swedish region of Jämtland Härjedalen is famous world wide for there unique passion for artisan food. Here you can find great skiing combined with locally produced food. Don't be surprised if both the cheese, meet and beer are produced next to the restaurant serving you.
