The Swedish ski resorts might not be the easiest to visit. At the moment there are no direct flights from UK to the north of Sweden. But there are lots of flights leaving for Stockholm and there you can find connecting flights taking you to the north parts. The best and easiest way is if you fly to Östersund, Östersund actually have their own slopes but a very small skiing system compare to what you’ll find in Åre, Vemdalen, Lofsdalen and Funäsdalen that is only about 1-1,5 hour away from Östersund.
